The short version We collect nothing. There are no analytics, no tracking, and no accounts. The content of pages you visit is processed inside your own browser and is never transmitted to us or to anyone else.

What Tanaw does

Tanaw analyzes websites you choose to inspect and shows you their technical details: hosting provider, IP address, DNS records, SSL certificate status, and the technologies the site is built with — plus security header, SEO, accessibility and performance checks.

What we collect

Nothing. Hublikha operates no analytics, no telemetry, and no user accounts for this extension. We do not collect your browsing history, we do not receive the content of pages you visit, and we have no way to know which websites you analyze.

Processed on your device

The following is read from the page you are analyzing and processed entirely within your browser. None of it is transmitted anywhere:

Page markup, meta tags, headings, links, images and script references
HTTP response headers and the resolved server IP address
Cookie attribute flags — Secure, HttpOnly, SameSite and expiry. Cookie values are never read.
Page performance timings, such as load and rendering measurements
The names of JavaScript global variables, used to identify frameworks and libraries

Stored on your device

Your settings, and any scan you explicitly choose to save, are kept in your browser's local extension storage. They are not synchronized across devices and are not transmitted to us. Removing the extension deletes all of it.

Optional lookups that leave your device

Some information cannot be obtained inside a browser at all. A browser provides no DNS resolver, no access to domain registration records, and no way to read the SSL certificate of the page you are viewing. Retrieving those requires querying external services.

These lookups are disabled by default You must switch them on yourself. The extension names every service before it makes the first request, and the panel header shows whether they are active.

When you enable them, only the domain name and IP address of the site you are analyzing are sent to:

Page content is never sent to these services. Each operates under its own privacy policy. You can turn these lookups off at any time in the extension's settings, and the rest of Tanaw continues to work offline.

Data we sell or share

None. We do not sell or transfer user data to third parties. We do not use user data for any purpose unrelated to the extension's single purpose, and we do not use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.

Children

Tanaw is a professional developer and technical support tool. It is not directed at children.

Changes to this policy

Material changes will be published on this page with an updated date. If a future version of Tanaw changes how data is handled, this policy will be updated before that version ships.
